Interior Design for a Residence in Vaajakoski

Recently, a construction for a new residential set started at Vaajakoski, Finland. Soon enough, new houses will emerge on a slope next to the lake. There will be also a pier at the seaside that will serve as a parking lot for even large boats. Moreover, just next to the lake will be a tiny individual sauna building. Meanwhile, Rakennuspalvelu P & P Heikkinen is managing the construction part of the project. We, on our side, are working as the main producer of sales & marketing images.

WORKING PROCESS

Generally, we create our marketing and catalog renderings together with the customer. Due to the wide collection of the reference images and detailed project brief we rapidly identify the suitable style for a space. In this circumstances, we chose a combination of industrial materials, bold colors, and soft forms. Firstly, we locate main furniture groups on the 2D layout. Secondly, we pick the actual materials and colors efficiently through detailed 3D modeling.

DESIGN SOLUTION

By and large, colors work in this space as Ying and Yang: white pillow on a dark sofa, black chair on a light background. Contrast furniture colors are balanced with a warm wooden floor surface. Furthermore, a similar hue as in the floor planks repeats itself in the mirror frame and in the kitchen equipment. Grey wall in the back enhances the depth and multidimensionality of the image. Inevitably, next to a rough concrete wall ceiling and kitchen cabinets look sharp and make a bold interior statement. Even the smallest equipment and decoration for the visualization was picked carefully. Because we know, when it comes to marketing renderings, every detail is important.

Even though, interior rendering is now finished and ready to attract first residents to the houses, on our side the project is still going full speed. Currently, we are putting our best effort in making exterior renderings. But that’s another story! 😉
